A springboard for young fashion designers since 1986, the International Festival of Fashion, Photography and Accessories – Hyères will hold its 40th edition from 16 to 19 October 2025 at the Villa Noailles. Last year, Dolev Elron was crowned the winner with “Casual Turbulence”, a collection of curves and distortions, playing on the archetypes of men’s fashion.
The finalists of the 2025 edition will be present at the Première Vision Paris show on 12 February 2025, to meet with the show’s exhibitors who will support them in the creation of their collections.
A leading cultural and artistic event
More than just a competition, the International Festival of Fashion, Photography and Accessories – Hyères has become, over the past 40 years, a major cultural and artistic event that also offers the public fashion and photography exhibitions, as well as conferences. During the four days of the festival, the Villa Noailles, a place of creative effervescence, will bring together designers, journalists, style office managers, representatives of ministries and leaders of major brands, all of whom are essential supporters of the competition.

On Wednesday 12 February, Jean-Pierre Blanc, Founder of the festival, will take part in an exclusive talk “The new creative perspectives of savoir-faire”. What are the new ways of doing things? What is their creative impetus? Who are their innovators? What is their new aesthetic vocabulary?
An exceptional jury to crown the fashion designers of tomorrow
Since the very first editions, major names in fashion have taken part in the fashion competition jury, which has revealed talents now recognized on the international scene. Among them are Anthony Vaccarello, Marine Serre and Viktor & Rolf, who will be part of the jury this year. They thus succeed a prestigious list of names who have marked the history of fashion: Paco Rabanne, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Azzedine Alaïa, Karl Lagerfeld and Yohji Yamamoto, to name a few.

Meet the 10 finalists of the fashion competition
Réuni à l’Institut du monde arabe fin janvier, le jury a dévoilé la liste des 10 jeunes créateurs, issus de 10 pays différents, sélectionnés pour participer au Festival d’Hyères. Leurs collections inédites seront présentées lors de défilés ouverts au public et aux professionnels, sous l’œil avisé de Maida Grégory-Boina. Un showroom permettra également aux festivaliers de découvrir les créations de plus près. Point d’orgue de cette expérience : une tenue de chaque créateur rejoindra la collection du Festival et sera exposée à la Villa Noailles.
Gathered at the Institut du monde arabe at the end of January, the jury unveiled the list of 10 young designers, from 10 different countries, selected to participate in the Hyères Festival. Their original collections will be presented during fashion shows open to the public and professionals, under the watchful eye of Maida Grégory-Boina. A showroom will also allow festival-goers to discover the creations up close. The highlight of this experience: an outfit from each designer will join the Festival’s collection and will be exhibited at the Villa Noailles.

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Hyères festival, the Villa Noailles is hosting an exceptional exhibition retracing the history of this event. A veritable dive into the festival’s archives, the exhibition will transport visitors to the heart of 40 years of history, through clothing, photographs, accessories and films that testify to the evolution of the festival and its impact on the fashion scene. Visitors will discover the first collections of young designers who have now become major names in fashion, photos of jury members at work, as well as striking artistic collaborations.
This is an opportunity to witness the artistic, industrial and commercial developments of a creative fashion that has established itself over the years in the profession, in the media and among the general public.
