40 Years of the Hyères Festival: Who are the finalists of the anniversary edition of the fashion competition?

A springboard for young fashion designers since 1986, the International Festival of Fashion, Photography and Accessories – Hyères will hold its 40th edition from 16 to 19 October 2025 at the Villa Noailles. Last year, Dolev Elron was crowned the winner with “Casual Turbulence”, a collection of curves and distortions, playing on the archetypes of men’s fashion.

The finalists of the 2025 edition will be present at the Première Vision Paris show on 12 February 2025, to meet with the show’s exhibitors who will support them in the creation of their collections.

More than just a competition, the International Festival of Fashion, Photography and Accessories – Hyères has become, over the past 40 years, a major cultural and artistic event that also offers the public fashion and photography exhibitions, as well as conferences. During the four days of the festival, the Villa Noailles, a place of creative effervescence, will bring together designers, journalists, style office managers, representatives of ministries and leaders of major brands, all of whom are essential supporters of the competition.

Can’t-miss talk!
On Wednesday 12 February, Jean-Pierre Blanc, Founder of the festival, will take part in an exclusive talk “The new creative perspectives of savoir-faire”. What are the new ways of doing things? What is their creative impetus? Who are their innovators? What is their new aesthetic vocabulary?

Meet the 10 finalists of the fashion competition

Gathered at the Institut du monde arabe at the end of January, the jury unveiled the list of 10 young designers, from 10 different countries, selected to participate in the Hyères Festival. Their original collections will be presented during fashion shows open to the public and professionals, under the watchful eye of Maida Grégory-Boina. A showroom will also allow festival-goers to discover the creations up close. The highlight of this experience: an outfit from each designer will join the Festival’s collection and will be exhibited at the Villa Noailles.
