For the second consecutive season, MIC Group is participating in Denim Première Vision to share its innovative and sustainable vision within the denim industry. This event, one of the key gatherings for the denim sector, will be held on 4 & 5 December 2024, in Milan’s vibrant Superstudio Più. Denim PV provides an ideal platform to present the latest ideas, but this year, MIC’s invitation goes beyond a traditional showcase: it aims to inspire, engage, and challenge industry professionals with a unique experience, “Collect Your Colors™” designed in collaboration with Denim Première Vision to let visitors explore and interpret the color trends for Spring-Summer 26.
Today, fashion is intrinsically tied to individual and collective expression, and “Collect Your Colors™” embodies this need. Through Denim PV’s corridors, MIC invites participants to immerse themselves in 20 colors identified as key shades for the upcoming season. Among these, four especially evocative hues capture the imagination and fulfill the demand for a fashion that transcends aesthetic boundaries.
Petroleum Teal 3149 and Boreal Green 218, symbols of peace and the connection between the natural and digital worlds, evoke a sense of calm and grounding in visitors. In contrast, Spanish Orange 148 and Sweet Pink 165 radiate energy and introspection, expressing resilience and inner reflection, essential qualities for navigating a complex and ever-evolving present.
The decision to develop “Collect Your Colors™” reflects MIC’s mission to bring a personal and multisensory experience to every partner and visitor. Instead of merely observing new trends, visitors will collect colors, touching them and taking them home in handy spools of thread. This approach goes beyond the visual aspect, offering direct, sensory contact with seasonal palettes and allowing designers to envision how these shades might shape their upcoming creations.
MIC has a solid, longstanding history in the denim world, built on the production of high-quality sewing threads designed to fit a constantly evolving industry. Specialising in creating threads that combine strength and finesse, MIC stands out with a technical design approach that meets both aesthetic and performance standards, highlighting denim’s intrinsic beauty without compromising durability. This commitment has led MIC to collaborate with leading brands in the industry, contributing to innovative, sustainable and high-performance collections at every stage of the production chain.
Each MIC thread represents a blend of technology and creativity. In recent years, the company has invested in research and development to create products that meet new sustainability trends. Among the flagship products is a line of recycled threads, GRS-certified, made with regenerated materials that minimize environmental impact without sacrificing robustness and aesthetics essential for denim.
Additionally, the BIO-COTTON thread, the world’s first GOTS-certified sewing thread, meets the most stringent standards of sustainability for organic cotton.
These products enable brands to offer denim garments that respect the environment, promoting a more responsible supply chain. MIC has also introduced the Leaf line, a quick-biodegradable nylon designed to reduce the impact at the end of the garment’s life cycle. This line, along with low-environmental-impact chemical processes, meets the market’s demand for products that are not only high-performing but also sustainable.
Completing its offering, MIC presents the Hilaya-MIC line, developed in collaboration with Nettle Circle, using Himalayan nettle fiber blended with organic cotton. This thread is produced on the Himalayan highlands, helping to preserve local traditions and sustain a crop that is being revived. The success of this line demonstrates MIC’s ability to adapt to the technical demands of the denim market, offering threads that allow designers to maintain high garment quality without compromising on durability.
MIC Group’s participation in international initiatives reflects its commitment. In recent years, it has supported the Candiani Custom project in collaboration with Candiani Denim, promoting zero-mile production and eco-friendly solutions for premium denim, combining Italian innovation and sustainability.
Additionally, the Future of Denim Production event in Cairo, organized in October 2024, provided MIC with the opportunity to expand its network, establishing new collaborations in the African and Middle Eastern markets.
With a solid foundation and a constant commitment to quality and innovation, MIC presents itself at Denim PV not only to showcase its latest products but to foster a dialogue with professionals and creatives in the field. With “Collect Your Colors™”, MIC aims to inspire the future of denim fashion, inviting the public to feel the colors and promote a vision of fashion that is inclusive, sustainable and cutting-edge.
