Emina Batik + Tintes Egara
Hosted by the Spanish garment dye house Tintes Egara and textile designer Emina Batik, alias Giulia Perin, this exclusive workshop will give you the opportunity to experience traditional dyeing process using old batik technique and innovative dyes created from textile waste by Officina +39.
Mixing innovation and tradition, the batik dyeing method will be applied during the workshop to personalize espadrilles & t-shirts.

To further explore this fascinating dyeing process, Giulia Perin will host 2 educational sessions each day at 3 pm live from the Emina Batik booth in B13 to share her knowledge.
Emina, a.k.a Giulia Perin, is an Italian textile designer and artisan specialized in batik & natural dyes, who spent the last years in Indonesia to study local traditional textile design techniques. She creates unique collections using only natural fibers, dyed with self-made non-toxic plant dyes.
A sustainable approach that respects both the environment and the wearers.
