« Experience Embroidery » with Louise Robert : Exploring the creative heart of PV Paris The - Première Vision Paris
Première Vision Paris, happening between 11 and 13 February 2025 at Paris Nord Villepinte, is all about celebrating craftsmanship. Embroidery expert Louise Robert will be there, showing off her skills in a special area of Hall 5. You can even try your hand at embroidery and see her precise and contemporary techniques up close.
“Embroidery was my beginning. My grandmother sparked my passion, and I honed my skills in a couture house. In 2001, I founded Louise Robert, dedicated to fully hand-embroidered collections. Life took a different turn, leading me into more technical design roles. I designed, created, and optimised collections for others. Yet, the allure of the needle and thread never faded. Today, as a consultant, I’ve found my way back to embroidery. It’s a meditative practice, a grounding force. I feel connected to generations of women who’ve embroidered, and I’m eager to revitalise this timeless craft.”

“The name is a playful homage to my initials (LR), my Parisian roots, and Marcel Duchamp’s Dadaist 1964 masterpiece, “Air de Paris”. I believe, as the Dadaists did, that finding the absurd in the ordinary is a profound pursuit.
L’r de Paris currently offers a collection of hand-embroidered men’s shirts. Each shirt is lovingly curated and adorned with unique patterns that I design, reflecting my personal journey, passions, and aesthetic vision, with a dash of humor and irony.”
