Fashion Guest : Nathalie Restrepo

Nathalie Restrepo, a graduate of Penninghen who trained at both the Studio Berçot and the Lesage school for haute couture embroidery, developed her skills as an art director for womenswear at various trends bureaus including Peclers Paris and Promostyl. She represents the CTC at Première Vision’s color consultations in France.

An immersion via the guiding threads of the creative process

Get closer, examine, scrutinize, zoom in, and take your time discovering this creative, fanciful, joyful and spectacular AW 22-23 season – which is also subtle, discreet, and mysterious – through a whimsical and spontaneous selection, where color reveals its full meaning and impacts us deeply, instilling a fierce desire to move forward.

Color impact

XXL weaves and motifs with a spectacular quality thanks to their generous scale and colorways.
An intertwining interplay of yarns that together weave abstract, poetic and colorful landscapes, with wet, lacquered, almost technical effects. Geometrics are split between ethnic graphics and “soccer addict” two-tones, for a new nomadic generation.
Checks are decisively oversized in an effort to get noticed. Prints hover between eccentric & couture animal skins and flowers in silhouette, the whole worked in an extraordinary palette.

Mysterious Blurring

The jacquard loom is more central than ever to this extraordinary burst of creativity, intermixed into these dark and subtle plays on matity and shine, mixing contrasting yarns, woolens and gummy yarns, technical yarns, a cross of checks, twills and herringbones that sketches out strange maps, like a subtle urban camouflage.
