Harmony Focus AW 25-26: Sensory Opulence

The themes developed for AW 25-26 explore a balance of restraint and splendor. Never flashy, opulence comes through in the sensual feel, handles and surfaces of the season’s leathers and fabrics. The inherent luxury and nobility of the materials are heightened by deep color schemes and interplayed hues.

An exacting elegance predicated on quality, where richness is combined with powerful tactile appeal.

Forever Reds

This season, reds appear to reclaim their place with a heightened intensity. Ranging from a darkly burnished to a slightly orangey red, they are mostly quite bright this season, creating an immediately dramatic visual effect.

Monochrome without being a simple swath of color, this season’s reds are substantial reds, with textures that play on relief, shine and transparency. Laces, embroideries and jacquards unfurl their red nuances and emphasize their tactility.

Leathers and furs vaunt nourished and creamy tactile aspects, with a look inspired by crushed lipsticks. For accessories, smaller bags and shoes with a marked cosmetic influence.

Vintage Opulence

Seductive appeal embraces shimmering retro palettes, in deep and opulent warm tones, with soft metallizations.

Precious reflections and metallic nuances of gold, silver and copper underpin a less provocative, more discreet and restrained approach to glamor.

Coated, laminated and metallic materials reveal a quite earthy inspiration, bathed in mineral reflections.

Shimmery effects revive warm-toned grounds.

On precious, fluid and refined fabrics, reds, oranges and browns adopt subtle nuances recalling the rich patina of eroded metals.

The edges of motifs grow faint and evanescent, creating large abstract gradients.

Muted Metallization

A deterioration of shine reflects a shift to a more restrained opulence, a less gaudy kind of glitz. Discreet metallic effects slip into dark tone-on-tone effects, with tarnished, smoky and blackened hues.

Reflections and textures emerge on the dark grounds of silkies and jacquards, giving them texture and movement, like minerals glistening in the half-light.

The gleams are shifting and fluid, multicolored, iridescent, moving away from red carpet suits, and instead destined for hypnotic evening gowns.

Irregular metallizations slip into wool broadcloths for coats that seem to crystallize, mimicking mineral surfaces scattered with gem-like glints.
