Spring-Summer 24 Leathers: Exceptional irregularity The - Spring-Summer 24 - Leather - Première Vision Paris
Reconnecting with the unique, exceptional character of each skin and replaying its irregularities are what Spring-Summer 2024 leathers are all about.
Chromatic Blur
Colors mix, melt and blur together on leathers and sheepskin. Shades obtained by layering color passes have a cloudy, misty look. Color applications are light-handed and skillfully irregular: buffered or scattered metallic aspects with an almost strewn, powdery look; tie-dye effects in brown or cloudier grey hues; two-tone dyes on smooth shearlings.
Vegetal patinas
The desire to preserve the natural look and particularity of each skin, to enhance it through traditional methods, is expressed in drum-dyed skins with aniline finishes. These last replicate classic cognac and tobacco leather shades, without re-pigmentation. Elegantly set off by a subtle, buffered shine, skins sport soft tonal shades.
This spring, warm and pigmentary blues are worked with this same feeling of substance. Pull-up leathers with a denim effect, lightly bleached hides, two-tones on a goat leather with a sanded top grain – blues vibrate in harmony with the material.
