The Fairly Made® platform: engaging suppliers for greater transparency!

Transparency is now a major issue in the fashion industry. One essential word stands out: traceability. Tracing the supply chain requires collaborative work between suppliers, brands and trusted third parties. At Fairly Made®, more than 8,000 factories are already working together to offer this visibility to brands and, at the end of the chain, to consumers in stores. Committed to these issues, Première Vision has developed dedicated paths to help visitors better identify the suppliers involved in this transparency initiative.

For this July’s edition, over a hundred exhibitors will be sharing their Fairly Made® QR codes with you on their stands! Discover them as you make your way around the show.

Fairly Made® is a green tech scale-up created in 2018 with the aim of improving the social and environmental impact of the fashion industry through its SaaS platform. The platform offers brands a product assessment calculated on 5 criteria: traceability, environment, recyclability, social and sustainability. This 360° approach enables brands to understand the real impact of their collections, identify levers for action and communicate with consumers via QR codes and widgets.

Reliable and transparent suppliers play an indispensable role in ensuring traceability in the textile world, providing detailed information on the origin of raw materials, production processes and quality standards. Traceability gives brands an overview of the supply chain, enabling them to avoid certain social and environmental abuses. It is therefore essential to encourage suppliers to commit to this transparent approach.

Fairly Made® now offers suppliers the opportunity to promote their approach. This new solution, geared to industrial needs, enables factories to easily retrieve previously entered information, thus saving precious time. Furthermore, suppliers can publicly share a factory sheet, highlighting their transparency and commitments. While until now Fairly Made® has catered to the needs of fashion brands and consumers, the platform now extends its scope to include the requirements of suppliers, fostering transparent collaboration and fluid communication.
